HealthSpring and WAMB will host a big band dance to honor all veterans and their families on October 26 from 3 to 5 pm at the Marriott Hotel in the Cool Springs area. The music will be provided by the Merchants Of Cool from Columbia. The dance is free and open to the public. The event will also mark the 39th birthday of WAMB radio and the 69th birthday of the U.S.Coast Guard Auxiliary.

Big Band Dances return to Centennial Park on Saturday evenings. We are
celebrating 25 years of Big Band music and dancing in Centennial Park with
weekly Swing Dance contests.  Free dance lessons sponsored by Dance World
from 7 to 7:30 and 8:30 to 8:50.  Music from 7:30 to 10 pm. Bring your lawn
chair.  Centennial Cafe will sell food and beverages. Brought to you by
WAMB - AM & FM, Tennessee Arts Commission, and Arts in the Parks.
